This workshop is open to all Ekan Zen Study Center sangha, and it will be held June 1st and 2nd, 2018 and hosted by the Red Clay Sangha in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Guiding Teacher Konin Cardenas will also give the Dharma talk during the regular Sunday morning program at Red Clay on June 3rd.
Zen Buddhist practice is based on the teaching that each moment contains everything that we need to know to be wise and compassionate beings. Yet this teaching did not originate with Zen. It stretches all the way back to the historical Buddha, to the Theravada and the earliest of Buddhist practices.
In this workshop, we will explore together how to practice right in the midst of a busy, contemporary life and discover a knowing that illuminates body and mind, all five aggregates. Participants will experience a variety of meditation forms, teaching talks, and will have the opportunity for personal practice encounters with the Teacher. This workshop is suitable for both beginning and experienced practitioners.
For more information and registration details contact Konin at Konin [at] EkanZenStudyCenter.org or see the Red Clay Sangha website in April, when the schedule and other details are posted.
We all look forward to sitting with you then!
